Import & Export Custom Attributes

Multiple custom fields under a particular attribute can be imported from a .xlsx file or a .csv file present in your local system to the Custom Lookup Fields screen in the SKYSITE Facilities & Archive application. Again, you can export custom fields under an attribute in bulk from the Custom Lookup Fields to your local system in .xlsx file or .csv file format.

 

Accessing the Import & Export functionality:

 

 

 

 

Follow the given procedure to Import Custom Fields under a selected Custom Attribute:

 

  1. Click [Import] menu item on the opened up More menu. The Import Custom Attributes window opens up. This is shown below,

 

 

  1. Select the source file type from the drop-down. These file types within which the custom field list will be imported can be Excel or CSV. Select the file from where the custom field list will be imported from your local system to the application by clicking the [Choose File] button in Step 1 of the importing process. The application will accept contact data on a standard format only.

  1. After you have selected the file for import, click Next to move forward to the next phase (Step 2) of the importing process.

  1. You can map the columns present in the application with those in the excel sheet at the Map Columns drop-down.

  2. Click [Import] button to start the importing process. Separate column headings in the excel sheet will be considered as custom field.

  3. Click [Close] to exit.

 

 

Follow the given procedure to Export Custom Fields under a selected Custom Attribute:

  1. Select the Custom Fields from the list of fields on the right-side panel. If you do not select any custom field for exporting then the application, by default, will take all the custom fields displayed on the right-side panel.

  2. Click (More button). The Import & Export Menu opens up. You will have the option to download the list of custom fields in CSV format or directly in an Excel spreadsheet on your local system.

  3. Click Export as CSV menu item to download and save the list of custom fields in CSV format on your local system

  4. Click Export as Excel to download and save the Custom field list in an Excel spreadsheet.
